Architecture is an interesting art. When a work is created it’s permanence is almost assumed. And it is an incredibly collaborative form as well, because every work created is just another piece of an even greater work. The city it’s housed in. But every once in a while one of those works is destroyed-for better or worse.
I find it kind of fascinating to consider how you go about deciding which building you destroy in order to erect a new one.
